Jawshan means "chain armour", in some hadith it is mentioned that it is a protection for a person: from safety on leaving home, from sickness, or on death. It is in a hundred sections, each of which contains ten of the names of Allah.

| O Acceptor of repentance, O Hearer of voices, O Knower of attributes, O Repeller of calamities. | O Soveregn, O Approver, O Forgiver, O Elevated One, O Helper, O Holder of blessings and manifestation. يَا سُلْطانُ، يَا رِضْوانُ يَا غُفْرانُ، يَا سُبْحان يَا مُسْتَعان يَا ذَا الْمَنِّ وَالْبَيانِ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ َخَلِّصْنا مِنَ النَّارِ يَا رَبّ (6) يَا مَنْ تَواضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعَظَمَتِه يَا مَنِ اسْتَسْلَمَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِهِ يَا مَنْ ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعِزَّتِه يَا مَنْ خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِهَيْبَتِهِ يَا مَنِ انْقادَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنْ خَشْيَتِهِ يَا مَنْ تَشَقَّقَتِ الْجِبالُ مِنْ مَخافَتِهِ يَا مَنْ قامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ بِأَمْرِهِ يَا مَنِ اسْتَقَرَّتِ الاََْرَضُونَ بِإِذْنِهِ |

| O Aggregator, O Intercessor, O Magnanimous, O Increaser, Praise be to Thee, there is no god but Thee. The Granter of all succour Protect us from the Fire, O Lord. يَا طَبِيبَ الْقُلُوبِ يَا مُنَوِّرَ الْقُلُوبِ يَا أَنِيسَ الْقُلُوب يَا مُفَرِّجَ الْهُمُومِ يَا مُنَفِّسَ الْغُمُومِ سُبْحانَكَ يَا لاَ إِلهَ إِلاَّ أَ نْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ َخَلِّصْنا مِنَ النَّارِ يَا رَب (13)اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَ لُكَ بِاسْمِكَ يَا جَلِيلُ، يَا جَمِيلُ يَا وَكِيلُ، يَا كَفِيلُ يَا دَلِيلُ يَا قَبِيل يَا مُدِيلُ يَا مُنِيلُ يَا مُقِيلُ، يَا مُحِيلُ سُبْحانَكَ يَا لاَ إِلهَ إِلاَّ أَ نْت الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ خَلِّصْنا مِنَ النَّارِ يَا رَبّ (14) يَا دَلِيلَ الْمُتَحَيِّرِين |

يَا غِياثَ الْمُسْتَغِيثِينَ يَا صَرِيخَ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِينَ يَا جارَ الْمُسْتَجِيرِينَ يَا أَمانَ الْخَائِفِينَ يَا عَوْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَا رَاحِمَ الْمَساكِين يَا مَلْجَأَ الْعَاصِينَ يَا غافِرَ الْمُذْنِبِين يَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ سُبْحانَكَ يَا لاَ إِلهَ إِلاَّ أَ نْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْث َخَلِّصْنا مِنَ النَّارِ يَا رَب (15) يَا ذَا الْجُودِ وَالاِِْحْسانِ يَا ذَا الْفَضْلِ وَالاِِْمْتِنانِ يَا ذَا الاََْمْنِ وَالاََْمان يَا ذَا الْقُدْسِ وَالسُّبْحان يَا ذَا الْحِكْمَـةِ وَالْبَيانِ يَا ذَا الرَّحْمَـةِ وَالرِّضْوانِ |
Jawshan means "chain armour", in some hadith it is mentioned that it is a protection for a person: from safety on leaving home, from sickness, or on death. It is in a hundred sections, each of which contains ten of the names of Allah.

يَا غِياثَ الْمُسْتَغِيثِينَ يَا صَرِيخَ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِينَ يَا جارَ الْمُسْتَجِيرِينَ يَا أَمانَ الْخَائِفِينَ يَا عَوْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَا رَاحِمَ الْمَساكِين يَا مَلْجَأَ الْعَاصِينَ يَا غافِرَ الْمُذْنِبِين يَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ سُبْحانَكَ يَا لاَ إِلهَ إِلاَّ أَ نْتَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْثَ الْغَوْث َخَلِّصْنا مِنَ النَّارِ يَا رَب (15) يَا ذَا الْجُودِ وَالاِِْحْسانِ يَا ذَا الْفَضْلِ وَالاِِْمْتِنانِ يَا ذَا الاََْمْنِ وَالاََْمان يَا ذَا الْقُدْسِ وَالسُّبْحان يَا ذَا الْحِكْمَـةِ وَالْبَيانِ يَا ذَا الرَّحْمَـةِ وَالرِّضْوانِ |
Jawshan means "chain armour", in some hadith it is mentioned that it is a protection for a person: from safety on leaving home, from sickness, or on death. It is in a hundred sections, each of which contains ten of the names of Allah.
